NSW: Lunchtime Lecture - Allan Behm "Framing Foreign Policy in Times of Uncertainty"

We have a regular programme of monthly lunchtime-lectures covering either current or historical Defence and Security issues. We also occasionally arrange multi-speaker seminars and group visits to sites of Defence interest.

Each August, Members enjoy our formal Annual Dinner and a convivial lunch is usually held prior to Christmas.

For Lunchtime-Lecture Attendees:

Institute for Defence and Security Studies NSW Lectures are usually provided on the last Tuesday of the month. All Lunchtime Lectures are held at the Sydney Mechanics' School of Arts. SMSA Mitchell Theatre (Level 1) 280 Pitt Street Sydney. The lectures run from 1.00 p.m. and 2.00 p.m. an entry charge will be levied at the door of $10 for Members, $15 for Non-Members. Lectures are open to Members, their Guests and Visitors. Should members of the public wish to attend as unaccompanied Visitors, or for any other enquiries, please contact the Office Manager,  on 9393-2325. Lectures at the Mechanics Institute are preceded by a Social Hour beginning at 12 noon, during which tea and coffee are served and a light sandwich lunch may be purchased for $8.00. Sandwiches must be pre-ordered on 9393-2325 by noon on the Monday preceding the lecture.
