Membership of RUSI Victoria
The Royal United Services Institute of Victoria turned 100 in 1990. Its original charter was to foster the cause of National Defence by a variety of means but today the RUSI is in the business of stimulating thinking about Australian and world affairs. The RUSI does this by offering its members membership of an excellent research and general library, monthly luncheons to hear such eminent people as professor Geoffrey Blainey, Professor Cheryl Saunders and Sir Zelman Cowen, seminars which attract internationally important people and various social occasions such as an annual dinner in the Army Officers’ Mess at Victoria Barracks.
All this for an annual subscription of $35.00 suburbs, $25.00 country
